Urgent repair

Water coming in and you need someone there? Report it in the members-only Urgent repair diary, open every day 8am to 6pm. Homeowner members: our target is to be with you within 48 hours. Landlord members: within 24 hours. Targets, not guarantees; urgent repairs start 30 days after you join.

Only members can open this diary, so every booking in it comes from a verified member. It’s kept separate from our ordinary customer bookings, which is how we give members priority. You can add the community to your phone’s home screen, so it works like an app. Our response times are targets, not guarantees.

While you wait: simple, safe steps

Move belongings and furniture away from the leak.
Catch drips with buckets, bowls and towels.
Keep away from electrics, sockets and light fittings near water. If water is near electrics, switch off at the fuse box only if it’s safe to do so.
Don’t use ladders or go onto the roof. Leave that to us.
Take photos if it’s safe, so we can see what’s happening.

If water isn’t coming in, please book a visit instead. Non-urgent visits are within one week.

What’s included

Each membership year includes one urgent visit, with no call-out fee and a £150 repair allowance. If the repair costs more, £150 comes off the bill and we tell you the price for the rest before any work starts. If you’ve already used this year’s urgent visit, we can quote for another visit before anything is booked.
