Dated yearly recordWhy a yearly record matters
For homeowners
A clear history of checks and repairs. Which? advises having your roof inspected every few years and keeping proof that it’s been done.

For landlords
Under the new Decent Homes Standard, due from 2035 and with rules still to be made, roofs are listed as a “key” part of the home, because a roof in poor condition can lead to damp and mould. A dated yearly report helps you evidence good repair. It isn’t a compliance certificate.

Included in membership
The annual roof condition report and certificate is part of every Ridgewatch membership. At our standard non-member prices, a roof condition report is £350. That’s the price used if you cancel early.
